2) Properties
Solid caustic soda (for ion membrane, chemical fiber, high purity, food additive) is mainly white flakes (granules)
Chemical molecular formula: NaOH, specific gravity 2.13, strong alkalinity, easy to absorb moisture, strong corrosive to skin, clothing, etc., easy to absorb carbon dioxide in the air to form sodium carbonate, must be stored in a dry, clean, pollution-free, packaged and isolated from air.
Liquid caustic soda (for ion membrane, chemical fiber, high purity, food additive) is a colorless and transparent solution. It is strongly alkaline and has strong corrosiveness to skin, textiles and paper.
3) Packaging
Solid caustic soda: Flake caustic soda is packaged in plastic woven bags (with lining bags, 25Kg/bag), and granular caustic soda is packaged in heavy packaging film (25Kg/bag). After packaging, it is packaged in whole tons of film and secondary bagging (plastic woven bags) according to customer requirements.
Liquid caustic soda: Canned
4) Applications
Caustic soda is an important chemical raw material, mainly used in the food industry, oil pressing, papermaking, artificial fiber, textile, printing and dyeing, sewage treatment, non-ferrous metal smelting, fertilizer, power plant water treatment, organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, daily chemicals, fine chemicals, plastics and water treatment industries.
