Stevioside is a natural health supplement and medical auxiliary therapeutic agent extracted from the herbaceous plant Stevia rebaudiana. Stevioside is close to pure white in sweetness, stable in taste, without peculiar smell, easily soluble in water and alcohol, stable in nature, not easy to mold, and is the most natural substitute for sucrose sweeteners that has been discovered and approved for use by the Ministry of Industry of my country. It has the unique characteristics of high sweetness and low heat. Its sweetness is 200-450 times that of sucrose, but its calories are only 1/300 of sucrose.
